I enjoy working on these alphabet owls with the Kindergarten. They are a great beginning of the year project. They end up looking fantastic, especially how each little owl has it's own personality. This year, students could choose a cool, warm or monochromatic color scheme!
First, they make oval or snowman shaped bodies, and the rest of the owl's pieces are letters. D's for the wings, B's for the mask, O's for the eyes, V's for the beak and ears...
Look at the Monochromatic hoots! They use C's and U's for texture.
I love what these little hands create! They are Creative WILDcats!
